I have only quickly looked through the book. This book is an EXCELLENT RESOURCE for anyone that would like to learn about the 15 species of Cranes in the world. It has EXCELLENT PHOTOGRAPHS!. Dr. Goodall's comments about the book were spot on! They inspired me to purchase the book.

This book makes the story of cranes engaging, easy to read with just enough technical information around the story of these awesome birds. Mangelson does his usual great job with the photography.
